About me

I originally trained in the late 1980s as a couple counsellor with Marriage Counselling Scotland (now Relationships Scotland) and worked with that organisation for many years as both a counsellor and supervisor, alongside my private practice which I set up in 1993. After further training between 1994 and 1997, I gained my diploma in person-centred therapy (PCT Britain).

Between 1995 and 1998, I worked part-time in three medical practices in Inverness, followed by ten years as a Counsellor Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, working with young people and their families, before returning to private practice at the end of 2008. I now offer counselling, psychotherapy, and supervision for other practitioners, working from my own home.
